How do you choose an LV-H132 filter replacement?

Choose by model fit first, then compare whether you want a genuine Levoit filter or a compatible alternative. For another brand-specific option, compare Honeywell HEPA replacement filters.

Pack size and stated filtration details can help narrow the choice once you know the replacement is intended for your purifier.

Does the Levoit LV-H132 filter replacement fit your model?

Check the purifier's model label and look for LV-H132 or LV-H132-RF in the filter's compatibility details. Some compatible brands explicitly limit their filters to LV-H132, while others name LV-H132-RF as a part number.

Dimensions vary across the options here, so compare them with the filter you remove if you are unsure. Don't choose a filter for a different Levoit model based only on a similar name.

Should you choose a genuine or compatible LV-H132 filter?

Choose the Levoit filter if you prefer an authentic replacement designed for the LV-H132 Series. Levoit says its filter-life indicator and built-in algorithm work with authentic filters.

Compatible options can offer two, three or four filters in a pack. Their makers identify them as compatible replacements, so weigh that distinction against your preference and verify the exact model before buying.

How many filters should you buy at once?

A single filter can suit you if you replace filters one at a time and don't want extras in storage. Multipacks can keep replacements ready, but the right size depends on how often you change the filter and how much storage you have.

The options here range from one filter to four per pack. Follow the replacement guidance for the brand you choose rather than assuming every compatible filter uses the same interval.

What filter layers matter for the LV-H132?

Several choices describe a pre-filter, a main or HEPA filter, and activated carbon. The pre-filter is intended for larger debris, while brands describe carbon as a layer for odors and gases.

Don't assume every compatible filter has identical materials or performance. Compare the stated layers and choose one that matches what you want from the replacement.

Which LV-H132 filter should you pick?

Pick the genuine Levoit filter if you want a replacement made for the LV-H132 Series and the brand's stated filter-life indicator compatibility. Choose Improvedhand for a three-filter pack, Laukowind for four, or Nispira if one compatible filter is enough.

For other Levoit models, use our LV-H126 replacement filter guide to compare options for that purifier. The right Levoit LV-H132 replacement filter is the one that matches your exact model and preferred pack size.

Frequently asked questions

Which replacement filter fits the Levoit LV-H132?

Choose a filter that names the LV-H132 or LV-H132-RF as a compatible model. The genuine Levoit replacement is designed for the LV-H132 Series, while compatible options from other brands vary in pack size and stated dimensions.

Check your purifier label and compare the replacement dimensions before ordering.

How often should you replace an LV-H132 filter?

Levoit recommends changing its genuine LV-H132 filter every 6 months. Compatible filter brands give different guidance, often based on use and environment, so follow the instructions for the specific filter you choose.

Frequent cooking, smoke or dusty conditions may affect how quickly a filter needs attention.

Is a compatible LV-H132 filter the same as a genuine Levoit filter?

No. A compatible filter is made by another brand and is intended to fit the LV-H132, while the genuine replacement comes from Levoit.

If you want an authentic filter, choose the Levoit-branded option.

If considering a compatible filter, verify the model and dimensions first.

Do LV-H132 replacement filters include activated carbon?

The options in this roundup describe an activated carbon layer, but their pack sizes and other filter layers differ. Carbon is commonly included alongside a pre-filter and main filter in these choices.

Check the exact model and package contents before buying, especially if odor filtration is a priority.
